Create your first event
Title, dates, questions and settings — step by step.
Steps
- From Events, choose New event.
- Add a title and an optional description — attendees see both.
- Set the start and end in your event's time zone. Responses close automatically at the end time.
- Choose Questions (written answers) or Poll (choices, ratings, scores, word clouds). See Questions or poll?.
- Add your questions. Mark any as optional.
- Review the Settings section (see Event settings explained).
- Choose Create event. It's saved as a draft — nobody can see it yet.
- Review it, add a picture if you like, then choose Publish.
Tip: Running the same kind of event again? Open an old event and choose Duplicate — questions and settings are copied and the dates move forward by whole weeks.
After publishing
You can still edit the title, description, end time and settings. Once the first response arrives, questions can be reworded but not added or removed, so the results stay consistent.
